Can you point to a single shred of evidence supporting your perception of the Tea Party movement? Just ONE?
Come on - we've been around for a couple of years now. It should be a piece of cake, right? Post the video of the Tea Partiers beating down town hall protesters! Oh, wait, that was
SEIU members that did that... I got it - post a video of the violence and theft that took place at Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally! Oh, wait, that was at
Stewart's "Restoring Sanity" rally...
Hmm... I tried to help you out here, but it looks like you're on your own. Let's see the EVIDENCE that backs up your implication that the Tea Party movement is dangerous in
any way (other than to your political ideology).
Look, I get that you're concerned about a movement that very directly and very vocally opposes your political positions, and was supposed to fade away after a only few months, but didn't. It makes sense. You're afraid - not that we're going to chase you down with machine guns, but that we have more influence in Washington than you. And you know what? Right now,
we do. Sorry, but you're going to have to live with that for the time being. In a few years, after the economy settles and people start working again, a lot of people will once again become complacent, and your squeaky-wheel tactics may again begin to work. For now, though, the majority is speaking, and loudly.
You've surely seen the "Obama was elected fair and square, deal with it" rants on this forum (and elsewhere). You may have even authored some of them - I'd bet even money on it. Well, guess what - the door swings both ways, renault. We're putting people that represent
US into office this time, and there's not a DAMNED thing you can do to stop it. We're electing our representatives fair and square.
Deal with it.
