I guess you missed post no. 20.
You know, when you point a finger at someone else, three are pointing at you.

I could see the alternate thread:

Or, Obama should be creating jobs instead of calling gay Pelosi-town California-sinking-due-to-liberalism ballteam.

You know they would.

It would be OK if Obama had not called the Giants, if Obama himself had not set the precedence for doing petty things.....like getting involved with the police "ACTING STUPIDLY".

But for all you Obungle defenders.....
Obungle certainly had time to break from the election and running the country for several hours this weekend to pass out Halloween candy, but two days later he doesn't have 2 minutes to make a frigin phone call????

Please. This president hates American tradition and does everything possible to squirm out of tradition.

it may not be his election, but it does affect him.

but i agree that there is no reason to bash obama on this. i will take issue with his policies, but i have long recognized the fact that the president of the US is in fact a busy man, and cant be expected to jump up and call the winning team right after a game. give the man a break will you?

Oh please. This is such a ridiculous post. I am no fan of Obama, but this is just stupid.

But, but, but... Bush was a guy - guys aren't supposed to call the next day.

You do realize that other Presidents, including the previous one, have called the next day, right? Some called several days later as has been pointed out.

Were they trying to "squirm out of tradition?" Or do you have blind, general hatred of a man that defeated your dear Hillary...

that was a scheduled event, the giants winning the world series last night was not. and it is very possible that obama did not watch the game last night, so unless someone told him the giants won, how would he know? as i said, i wont bash him over this.

Like previously stated, it's a tradition of courtesy that's been around for a while to call and congratulate the winner.
I'm sure The Giants will get the call any day now that his not calling has been made an issue.
