I hope as time moves along that the tea party becomes a party of radical ideas. SO radical people will actually have the power, money and personal liberty restored and welfare will not end.

1. Remove the federal income tax, capital gains tax, death tax, and estate taxes and replace it with a 3% federal sales tax on all goods expect food, clothing and housing.
2. Remove sin taxes
3. End the war on drugs
4. Pull our bases and troops out of every country.
5. Print our own money again (End the Fed) and back with trust and GOLD.
6. Leave SS and medicare in place
7. Promote health care via government and charity work projects.
8. Remove the department of energy
9. Remove the department of education

The radical idea we have today is that government owns your property, your life and your income. None of which have ever been the truth you and generations before handed it to them. Its time take it back.
Limited government and maximum freedom.

If by Party of Ideas you mean party with no ideas then yes but other wise no. The reality is they're going to fall in line and do as they're told because that's what Republicans do just like Republicans always massively make the deficit worse. Prepare to be disappointed.

You've just described the Democratic party as well. When will all of you delusional Dems & Reps realize that your parties are just two shades of the same color and quit trying to pretend that neither one of your parties made this mess we are in? Both are the problem and both are NOT the solution.

I happen to believe that your hope will be realized--but it will come and go in the wink of an eye. The Tea Party isn't all that different from the American Party (perhaps more familiar as the 'Know Nothings') of the late 1840s-early 1850s. They came onto the national scene, won elections all across the country, and were gone by 1853. These guys today aren't going to be any different.

Oh Please! and if your going to tell me the curently the party in office has such great ideas for this Country, YOUR IN A DREAM STATE!

This administration and President have failed us period. So many have spoken last night, that they want a new fresh change, a real change that is going to get this Country back on track. Something Obama would not know how to do.

Just maybe, now he will listen to the American People. This Party, this President, this Administration, clearly, has no insight, to what this Country needs to get back on track.

When you listen to the beat of your own drum, sometimes, the bigger drums, come back and bite you!

The tea party will become almost non-existent and fade back to where the came from now that Rand Paul has been elected and Republicans are the house majority. The same people who jumped on the the tea party bandwagon were oblivious to politics 4 years ago. The felt that their fate was safe in Republican hands. Furthermore, the tea party doesn't run anything but their mouths.

The Tea Party is a freak sideshow that will go away when the economy improves. The Republicans in the House were happy to ride their anger train to the White House, but they will not be so stupid as to enact any of these half-baked, radical ideas. And when it comes down to it, most voters will not support it, either. This is more a country of moderates than extremists.
