Obviously those tea partiers are racists, and only supporting these two out of white guilt.
But hey, why didnt they support 400+ candidates that are black? No, they only supported TWO.. The other 98% of the candidates were white... I guess they needed their "token" blacks..

Plus, it's not like Scott was running for statewide office. That's not to say he wouldn't have won if he was, but it's an important distinction to make.

Who said anything about Uncle Tom? I'm just using the same terminology that you guys use to describe blacks who align themselves with liberal ideology.
Former Congressman J.C. Watts refers to government entitlements as the ''liberal plantation.'' Too many black Americans have been trapped on this liberal plantation and feel beholden to the Democrats for keeping the gravy train rolling.
Here's a thought, why don't you just let black people be black people? We don't want to be your tokens, on either side.

The Republicans did quite well with diversity. In addition to several Black Americans, there was Marco Rubio from Florida, several house seats and governors races won by Hispanics, women and in South Carolina, and Indian woman for governor. Very nice to see.
