Massage parlor sting: Seattle cops bust owners, set up shop, bust 6 customers - Seattle headlines | Examiner.com

How, i sleep so much better and night knowing that the police are out there stopping illegal handjobs..

Why the hell is prostitution illegal? Isn't there real crime they should be going after?

I guess the seattle police have nothing else better to do unless they are beating up people.

What idiots!

Right up there with the sheriff's dept. in Orange County Florida arresting and jailing barbers for cutting hair without a license.
Cops have become revenuers.

Thats crazy. No wonder more & more cops are getting a bad rep.

A cops job is to serve & protect NOT serve & collect.

Its all about revenue. The CHP in ca is ticket crazy on & off the freeways.

NO DONUTS FOR 120 DAYS !

I agree; I can't get too upset about this kind of stuff. I did find it funny that one apparently naive guy was looking for a massage. I'm sure he enjoyed seeing this in the paper.

Informed consent is all that's needed.

Massage parlors should need to label their services, "Sexually Pleasant", or "Sexually Non-Pleasant".

I hate use of the word, "therapeutic".

Your honor, we caught this certified massage therapist, oily-handed, performing a "non-therapeutic" massage.

It's a problem until its legal and regulated. A lot of these "massage parlors," especially "Asian" spas, deal in trafficking of women, and forcing the women to do this work. The women are often kept as virtual slaves, and forced to work off debts to come to America (often under false pretenses to work in other industries) indefinitely.

It aint the bunny ranch out in Nevada.

So, until it's legal in a particular area, it's important to bust the pimps and the Johns. Mostly the pimps. It's usually not a high class call girl situation involving TRUE consent if there's another man threatening to kick the prostitute's @ss if she doesn't "work" for him.

Legal or illegal and you'll still have these situations, there is Chinese restaurant that is near my house that is somewhat of a franchise. Every night they all come out and pile into one van, mostly younger women and that's been going on for 20 years now. My understanding is this is the norm for many of these restaurants.
