Obama isolated ahead of 2012 - POLITICO.com Print View

Quote:
And business leaders, even the few who continue to be Obama-friendly, say they are convinced he is hostile to free markets and the private sector. Some of these executives have balance sheets flush with cash but are reluctant to add jobs or expand in part because they don't trust Obama’s instincts for growth.

“He used anti-corporate, confrontational rhetoric too for legislative gain, and kept doing it after folks found it gratuitous,” a top executive said.
He has demonized and demagogued across the US, businesses, individuals, any entity that got in the way of his radical agenda...and now he's paying the price for that, or rather his PARTY is paying the price.

Who could have envisioned the master campaigner would be such an inept, incompetent, hostile boob when it comes to actually governing?

Why - WE did.

There is a big difference betwen being anti business and anti corporate monopolists. Obama is not anti business but is anti monopolist. So am I.

I do NOT understand why ANY post not in favor of Obamma has to have a reply about bush?????

Yes, I am a Republican and No, I did not love Bush....But he is not the president now...Obummer is.

With that said, I would take Bush back tomorrow if it meant that Obummer was gone. I hope that conveys exactly how much I dislike and distrust our current President.

Tell that to the business community, which feels his hostility at every turn.

I was trying to point out that both parties are totally messed up.

There is no reason to point the finger at Bush or Obama. Point the finger at the system itself.

Anything else is a waste of time. It is totally counterproductive to nitpick on individuals when they are just cogs in the machine.

Left vs. Right argueing will never lead anywhere.

Obama isn't doing anything. He is just following a plan laid out for him by others. Like Bush did also.

Anti-corporate monopolists suggests that you (and Obama) would rather the government have a bigger share in the free markets. That's socialistic and anti-American. Thanks for pointing out why a massive Conservative Correction is currently underway. Pat yourself on the back for doing your part to make this happen.

Obama is also extremely pro-union, and hence very pro-monopolist... as long as it's his guy holding the monopoly.
