Why do so many people (including a lot of people on this board) worry about what other people have?

I don't give a flip about how much money Michael Dell and Bill Gates have. And could care less how they spend it.

Why are so many envious?

Speak fer yerself!

I am not the least bit envious of those who do better than I. It's really the worst form of snobbery, really; the upside down kind.

The newer generation has been brought up that way. It's a me me me society within the younger generations. They simply feel that if they can't have these same things, then neither should anyone else. They simply feel it is not fair. That's what giving the losers trophies turns you into.

I resent the rich that do not work for their living even more than I do fake welfare trolls. The wealthy generally have better educations and, IMHO, owe to the society that made them wealthy.

The only thing better than being wealthy is being wealthy without working for it. Life is short. If I won the lottery tomorrow I would feel no shame. There is no such thing as obscene wealth; poverty is another matter.

I have no problem with rich people who get rich without screwing over many Americans.

The Dems try to stir up class warfare. Yet it isn't working as well as they like, the majority of the middle class votes Republican and I can assure you many do not resent the rich.

The Dems?!? Really? The GOP wrote the book on class warfare. Fearmongering about how the welfare class is taking your hard earned money, pitting the middle class against the lower class, while the upper class gets all the benefits and the gap widens.

There's enough class warfare on both sides to go around, my friend.
