What I have a problem with is Sarah Palin the politician. She has NO political knowledge, NO foreign policy experience (she didn't even know who the Prime Minister of Canada was, or that Quebec wasn't a country), NO debate skills and NO independent thinking abilities -- she just repeats far-right talking points and throws in some "gosh, golly, you betcha" for good measure. Sarah Palin the politician is CLUELESS. I think Bush II was one of the worst ever, but I'd rather invite him back for a third term than see Sarah Palin in the land's highest office. She would be a TERRIBLE president -- TERRIBLE.
It is not just her lack of knowledge, it's her having no problem with out and out lying and spewing hateful rhetoric. She's got a real mean spirited streak and she's a whiner extraordinaire. I don't trust people that can dish it out but cannot take it.

It is, isn't it?

In the old days, liberals were tolerant of others viewpoints & opinions & behavior.

And now they seem to be so narrow minded and believe that the only right point of view is their own.

Excuse me, but it's the hypocrsiy that is hard to ignore. The "Driil Baby Drill" Mama Grizzly Pitbull is now the guardian angel of Alaska and its natural beauty. Not to mention that she whines about lack of privacy while she invites the entire world into her home. I did not watch the show, but was subjected to a clip of it on another show. She was rock climbing and was blathering something about not quitting. Huh? Not quitting? really now!

Do you disagree? Do you think "I have foreign policy credentials because my state borders Russia" (paraphrased) is an opinion that deserves anything but mockery?

I fully support Palin the right to hold her opinion. That doesn't mean I have to respect it. Because it's a really stupid opinion to hold.

There are quite a few posts in this thread where the poster words are a thinly veiled personal attack against any poster who says they support Palin - including yours where you pretty much said I was ignorant.

Attack the politics not the poster. Insulting someone that doesn't subscribe to your political train of though is poor form - not to mention rude.

It appears that some of Palin's colleagues on FOX didn't like the show, they even laugh about it!

No, he said Sarah Palin was ignorant. Which she is, majorly so.

Watching Palin is apparently a way for people to pacify themselves. Easy to feel good about yourself when you realize that at least you're not a bubbly, babbling fluff making a public spectacle of yourself like Palin is.

I think you should go back and rewatch the clip. You're using a biased site for your information and they can't even get it straight. They were not on the air at that time, it was likely a commercial break. Either way, the one lady was talking about other criticism while the lady on the opposite side of the table was laughing about the whole thing. The second lady then said it's like Bush, if you liked him then you liked the recent interviews with him, the same principal applies to Palin. If you don't like her, you likely won't like the TV show about her.

I think that last point is quite evident on CD.
