But only because this thread is about Palin, not Obama. You must be in the wrong thread.

Try to twist her words all you like, but the context of the conversation clearly indicates she simply misspoke. BFD!

While you're at it, try to defend cutting our anti-missle defense at the same time both Iran and N. Korea are developing nuclear weapons capable of striking the US.

I wouldn't want Palin in any position of responsibility, but if she had to have ANY I'd say US Ambassador to Italy, mainly because Silvio Berlusconi would always be calling in her, Bristol, and Willow for late night summit meetings involving "bunga bunga"

Fiscal conservatism demands cutting those anti-missile systems. Let South Korea defend itself. Let's not bail out South Korea with US taxpayers' money.....just as we shouldn't bail out Americans who've lost their homes and jobs. Go Tea Party!!!

When liberals misspeak nobody cares.

When a republican does it proves they are stupid???

You libs can't have it both ways.
those are pretty minor mistakes compared to Palin's flub. North Korea just attacked South Korea. now is not the time to get those two countries confused and even mildly insinuate we're allies of NK. luckily, I don't think anyone outside this country really takes Palin seriously, so it won't turn into a big international brouhaha.

Meh. My cat could outthink Palin in the area of foreign policy, but this was an obvious gaffe. They happen.

She is more than welcomed to fly to North Korea and try to befriend the Jong Il family.

Perhaps, but that was one the most depressing responses I have heard from someone aspiring to be president. She did not answer the hosts question and spewed her usual sound bite rhetoric. Oh well, nothing some long hair, a wink, and a casual "You betcha" can't fix...
