Pay up, Suckers!

OK, it was rigged. We all knew she was going to give him a pat on the back, and say good job, Charlie.

Democrats don't face charges for tax evasion. Just ask Geithner, Dodd, Daschle, Cleaver, McCaskill and others. Proof of tax evasion might be a Democrat party requirement before being granted any standing in the party.

Oh right seems to me he has been rewarded for bad behavior. Oh my, Poor Boy he got a spanking, and nothing more. He is a disgrace, and these people all make me sick, what they are allowed to get away with, and that does go for both parties, and their wrong doings.

Just an observation here regarding the poor reporting of the press.
Just what does Censure mean? What happens when you are censured?
Also, one of the charges regard the 4 apartments he controls. I've heard the
Newscasts refer to them as both "rent controlled" and "rent stabilized". In NY those are two
completely different animals. Rent controlled apartments are like diamonds.
There's a rent controlled apartment on W57th st (Carnegie Hall I believe) where the rent is
about $100 a month. Rent Stablized means that the annual increase are controlled by a board to reflect fair market value. So why does the News (both TV and papers) use these terms interchangeably?

Are you suggesting that the CBC may have voted along party lines?

ROFL too funny for words.
I noticed that Paul Kanjorski D-PA voted no. Could it be that he has a host of his own violations that he escaped punishment for?

Absolutely pathetic.
Gangsters masquerading as lawmakers.

Default 11 mos. later proves the censure was a farce as Rangel fundraises for re-election

Pay to play, brought to you by Washington - The Washington Post

Quote:
“Last night marked a momentous evening in my campaign for re-election,” Rangel wrote Thursday in a letter to supporters. “At a special event in Washington, Democratic leaders including Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, James Clyburn, Sandy Levin, John Conyers, Emmanuel Cleaver, and Steve Israel stood by my side and pledged their unwavering support on my behalf. I am so humbled and grateful for their involvement.”

As further evidence of how he had gone from opprobrium to affirmation, Rangel attached an article from Politico headlined “What Censure? Rangel’s Back.” The article included quotes from Rangel taunting the House ethics committee members and saying his censure was all for show.
Remember those names as they were the same who gave Rangel a standing ovation at his censure on the House Floor nearly a year ago.
