SOUTHLAKE -- Chase Bank told a businessman to remove the Christmas tree he donated to a local branch because it could offend people.
Antonio Morales, owner of Bellagio Day Spa in Southlake, had assembled and decorated a 9-foot-tall tree in the lobby of the Chase Bank branch at 1700 E. Southlake Boulevard as a favor to the branch manager, who is one of his clients.
If the property belongs to Chase, then i don't see what the problem is. It's their call. If it offends you, then don't bank with Chase (shoulder shrug).

I think you are right. I have a credit card through Chase and guess I will have to stop using it since they are afraid of offending atheists and Muslims, mostly.
I read the article and see some future trouble for Chase from Christians.

And as a Jewish person, I will continue to give Chase my business. I find it respectable that they share my belief that Christianity and all its manifestations belong in church, not in my bank.
Roys would you be as offended if Chase accepted the donation of a mennorah or 'promoting' Islam in their place of business? They are businessmen conducting business, they aren't supposed to be in the business of selling religion. The over commercialization of Christmas tends to cheapen it's meaning.
That tree should have been donated to a Church displaying it on their property. Displaying it at a Christian bookstore makes far more sense. Displaying a Christmas tree at a slaughterhouse would make no sense to me.

Yeah! Jews belong in the bank!
Christians belong in church.
When are those damned Christians going to forgive Goldman Sachs, anyway?
