It's the same people (usually Right Wingers) that pretend they are against big government and the government hiding secrets. But now they defend big government and big government secrets. Just a bunch of phonies. Demanding that someone be killed to keep big government secrets (shady deals and dirty laundry) isn't like freedom and democracy, but more like Mafia style revenge tactics.
Are you surprised that it's the Right Wingers that defend big government secrets?
You are a tad bit confused. We support the protection of our countries secrets and do not condone them being shared with the rest of the world. All nations have them (dirty laundry) and why you think ours are not worth protecting is a bit of a puzzle. Why don't you insist that China and Russia expose theirs?

Al Capone wasn't too merciful if any member of his gang revealed secrets to the police.
Would a dirty deal be like, say, Hillary asking her people to spy on other nations leaders?

For the most part right wingers are apathetic to the lying, law breaking, and unethical behavior exposed by wikileaks that our government is doing.

They are much more angry that the shady dealings were exposed.

This is the problem. Their priorities are in the wrong place.

I wonder how many lives have been snuffed out by US policies which may be revealed in Wikileaks?

no we dont want a secretive government, and we dont want a big government either, that is the purview of the left.
Yeah, that's what they say. Now the conservatives are defending big government.

Not very ethical.

Certain shady deals should be made public. Also, expose the cover-ups of such things as killing civilans. All this may happen, but the perpetrators will not be held accountable.
BTW...I don't live in China or Russia. So the point is......?

i am in no way defending big government, in fact i want a smaller government. however EVERY government has their secrets that should be protected, and kept away from others prying eyes. disseminating information that is classified to the public at large, is flat out wrong regardless of who does it. spying is one thing, everyone does it, putting that information out is another thing entirely. he has essentially admitted to espionage, and has publicly blackmailed the US government, among others. these are crimes in all nations that i know of.

I'm not surprised. The same right wingers will be salivating in favor of big government as long as it's a Christian theocracy.

really? so the fact that he obtained classified information that doesnt belong to him illegally means nothing to you? that is in fact espionage.

as to the blackmail, he threatened to release more information if he was arrested, that by definition is blackmail.

just because you lefties want no criminals laws, doesnt mean there should be no criminals laws. assange is a criminal and needs to be prosecuted, even your boy eric holder is working in that direction.

I'd say getting their DNA and CC numbers is a tad over the line.
