I'm not in the market for a new car right now but if I was I'd certainly at least test drive a Volt.

I thought a car had to actually BE driven first.

If you think this will result in normal people rushing out to purchase an overpriced "green" car that doesn't even get the mileage Government Motors claimed it got, that will cost you an arm and a leg just to recharge after going a max 40 miles on the battery, think again.

A green car that must be charged every day causing a higher demand on power increasing the output of power plants putting more greenhouse gas into the air LOL all at a cost of $40,000.00+ I work in the power industry so buy em up and plug them in keep me employed

But hey, they have GE, who is in tight with the head of GM, obama, buying a few thousand of the lemons in order to make it look like it might be a success. I'll be shopping for a new car come Jan, there is NO WAY I'd put my kids in a death trap of a car, which will crumple like a sardine can on impact.
