Can you please find me a cite that validates this. You will also need to figure out who the "we" is in the quote. If you can, I will concede you a point.

Why are libs so worried about Beck says ? It sounds more like you're scared of what he's saying. He maybe opening the eyes of a lot of people but I've always felt the left in this country were communists long before Beck proved it.
Cults and religions make money off weak minded followers that take every word written, as literal. Where I live its Catholics, not all but some are tithing 15 to 20% of their paycheck while their own family suffers. Parishioners are routinely upset about the payouts being made to victims of sexual abuse and the entire time those same people enabled the Priests to let it happen.
A normal person with an ounce of common sense realizes that a priest(man) abstaining from sex is forever is unatural. Again the church plays on the weak minded and says " We'll get through this just send more money" It does seem a certain demographc of people in this country fall prey to these Cults and or scams on a regular basis. Whether its praying on the weak minded or mentally retarded its a shame people still fall for these sort of things. It baffles me that we still have people in this country that will live and die on every word of a talk show host, President, or religous leader, especially now with the internet and that we find out all the time that most of these leaders are full of $h!t.
The last great cult leader was Hitler, I would surmise that Glenn beck isn't and that his followers aren't.
