Exactly! Seems that the republicans can't seem to grasp that tho.

The dems are balking at the estate tax deal, or so they say. I think it's all political posturing. I mean, they have to show their base, the Left, that they are fighting.
Did you happen to read about the estate tax deal that they had to through in to kiss the repubs ___? Sweet!

Perhaps the orange man will hold a press conference and explain why he is holding up the extension of unemployment benefits, plus tax breaks for the middle class, just so he can get tax breaks for the upper 2% of earners..
Didn't Boner say that they wouldn't let the taxes expire for the middle class even if they had to give up the $200,000 and higher tax cuts. Seems he forgot?

What is economically illiterate is borrowing $900 Billion dollars without knowing how you will pay it off. What ever happened to the fiscal conservatism of the Tea Party?

Yes that would be fantastic. If this alleged "compromise" had spending cuts, to offset the reduced taxes I would not have a problem with it. Unfortunately it doesn't. Cutting spending would be great, but is isn't anywhere in this bill.

In regards to the tax cut extensions, the government doesn't have to borrow any money to let people keep the same percentage of their own earnings. They simply collect the designated tax revenue.

The problem actually lies in the fact that the Dems are spending money the government doesn't have.

DEMS ARE THE PARTY OF HELL NO.

Shame on them.
Think you got it wrong as the repubs are not interested the in "average" american but in protecting the rich. They won't give a tax cut to the middle class unless the rich get the cuts with the other sweet deal. The republicans are a party of HELL NO!!!!
