Is it politcally incorrect for Oprah to bestow gifts on her studio audience? (race, arguments)

Clearly Oprah cares as other posters pointed ou she does many charitable acts. When is enough enough? Why is she squandering millions that can be used to help others? It really isn't politically correct.
By the way I would be happy to mind my own business as soon as the loony left stops telling me what to do.
But you want to tell Oprah how to spend her money.....
Well of course motive matters, but even if you disagree, let's look at the act. Has wasting millions of dollars sending hundreds of people to Australia helped one disadvantaged person?
is it oprah's responsibility to help ALL disadvantaged people? no she helps hundred's of thousands as it is. what a waste. the trip no one spent any money while they were there. adding to the local economy

I stand by my position that Oprah's gift giving shows were in poor taste given the fact that so many families became homeless this year. I am now leaving for a Christmas party.
Personally I find it in VERY poor taste that you're cavorting off to a Christmas party when so MANY are homeless this season..... and to dare to mention it on a PUBLIC forum at that.....but hey, far be it from me to point out your hypocrisy
Well of course, doesn't the left want to tell me how to spend my money?
No.
But you and the OP want to tell that black friend of Obama's what to do with her money.... I think that's the whole "How DARE SHE" theme of this thread. It couldn't be anything as silly as worrying about what the homeless watch on TV
should you really be going to celebrate at a christmas party when there are so many homeless people about, who won't be going to parties this season? isn't that the basis of the principle you seem to be upset with?

Maybe as long as it's not televised it doesn't count as "frivolous"!!!
