So are you also outraged that Ellen Degeneres gives gifts to her audience? How about Regis and Kelly? How "politically incorrect" of Regis to give gifts to the audience everyday.
Why is this thread in the Politics and Controversies forum?
What is controversial or political about Oprah giving away foot massagers to her audience?
What is your point?
My point is that Oprah is out of touch with the misery of the poor, starving, and homeless in our own country. It is political because she supported a man who is a socialist but she is a pure capitalist.

Haha....OK, so let me attempt to understand your "logic"
So you think that Oprah giving away iPads and buckets of kettlecorn to her audience proves that she is out of touch with the poor and starving?
However, Oprah is buying products from numerous companies (many of which are American) and thus putting money into the economy. And, after seeing different products on her show, many other Americans pump money into the economy by going out and purchasing those products which means that people will have to have jobs to produce those products. So I really do not see the issue.....
.....other than a transparent need to bash a self-made billionaire and person living the American dream.

How many homeless families could Oprah have sheltered with all the money whe spend on studio audiences?
