Unlike Bush and Cheney, Obama isn't an oilman.

Oh, we're talking about it alright. It's just that the mainstream press isn't reporting it. Situation......normal.

He isn't much of a president either.

Obama may not be an oil man, but he promised to end the Bush-era commodities modernization act that makes this thievery possible and has failed to do so. Hopefully as oil skyrockets and the Dow tanks, there will be new pressure on him to push for repeal of the act i.e. regulating oil futures trade.

Obama controls the price of gas about as much as your grandmother controls what I do.

But but but Bush was to blame last time this happened....because he is an 'oil man'....

LOL....the hypocrisy of the Obama lovers is funny to read.

But then, you can't really blame them too much, they mustn't be too bright to be fooled into voting for 'hope and change'...

I don't think Bush controlled it either.

To think our government has that kind of power over private corporations is ridiculous.

Because conservatives have brains and understand the President has little control over oil prices. Well except if he decreases worldwide supply by a moratorium on drilling............

Won't be for long. The difference........ It will never come back down.

The push/shove to a "green job" agenda, has many faces with this administration.

$4 a gallon is barely sustainable. When it tops that, all hell is going to break loose.

I predict $6 a gallon by this time next year.
It will dash any hopes of a 2nd term for Obama.
