Really? What about printing money, can the government do that?

as I remember just before the economy collapsed under bush gas went to 4.5 a gallon then dropped because the economy almost imploded. So your rant about Obama is ridiculous.

Expand the graph to view the last 8 years.

For the past year, prices have fluctuated between $3.20 and $3.85 several times, but haven't risen higher or dropped lower than that range. Looks like a plateau with some big bumps.

You guys really need to buy an electric car. That way they can tax you for the miles you drive. Someone has to pay for those roads, bike paths and city transit systems.

Of course they weren't. Back then, it was a sound conservative principle that if you couldn't respect the man, you at least had to respect the office. Disagreeing with the President in wartime was, in fact, close to treason. (Principles that do not extend to the bizarre case of the President having a "D" after his name.)

Besides, hardly anyone could remember actually having voted for GWB the 2nd time around. Scores of Republicans inexplicably became "Libertarians" rather than admit to GWB's fiascos.

So as Obama was taking office the gas prices fell to their low for a long time. Why don't you look at the $4.14 gas under W and say thank you Obama for that?

Are you concerned W passed Medicare part D without funds to pay for it? it adds a fortune to our deficit.

I really have little regard for those that don't look at both sides of the coin.

Earth's temperature is what it was over 17 years ago = NO NET WARMING in all that time while CO2 has continued climbing. The theory is DEAD yet we keep spending more taxpayer money to 'study it', now over $2 billion per year. USA CO2 emissions have actually DECREASED during Obama's term because of the bad economy and the fact that his policies have increased the cost of energy. So what do we get from this clown for lowering our CO2 emissions? NOTHING BUT MORE LIES TO DESTROY OUR ECONOMY EVEN FURTHER!

Our economy was shrinking fast when Obama took office. Now the economy is expanding, so gas prices will rise.

In other words, instead of calling it a truck gas guzzler, we call it a SUV gas guzzler. Same thing.

Pretty cheap here in metro Denver. Lowest price in last 24 hrs is $2.29. Not far from me, either. Maybe I'll go over there this afternoon.
