I agree. Our education system now concentrates on everyone going to college, yet some of the most talented people i know are in the trades. I wish we would respect and have more education on trades. Give me one good plumber over 5 college professors with doctorates in liberal arts.

As a poor person, you should tell us why you think you are protecting anything?

More than likely being you are poor you are making your family suffer and are a tax taker, not a tax payer.
What do you do to get out of being poor?

Have you thought of taking a job?

I'm not rich, but I am not poor either.
I pay taxes, I see the tyranny of the masses wanting to have benefits while barely trying to work and I am losing sympathy.

There is no shame in ANY job, so work, get off of all social services. Pay taxes and reduce the deficit by staying off the dole.

Our rich are over taxed and you can't grow the wealthy if you keep punishing success IMO.
Your best move is to copy what successful people have done to be well off IMO.

...because many people worship money in this country. The rich are almost godlike to many and can do no wrong.

Why do poor people protect the rich?

Because if they don't there will be no-one around to support them...

I can understand rich Republicans who want to lower taxes for the rich. I don't understand the poor Republicans. What do they have to gain from lowering taxes for the rich? If you lower taxes for the rich then you're in effect raising taxes for everyone else.
To me it is pretty simple, I don't think it is smart to take from people.
