In your opinion. But that would make you have to ignore the significance of Jay's letter as the origination of the NBC clause in the Constitution.
Oh, wait... I get it. You're a proponent of revisionist history (in the illegitimate distortion sense). The actual events and facts don't matter. Things are as you 'believe' them to be.
Which one of us has a problem with the way things are? You're the one wishing for things to be different. Sad, really.
"The label “Conservative†should really be interchangeable with “Constitutionalistâ€, and once this is understood, anti-Constitutional arguments can be viewed without the blurred distractions of the false left/right paradigm. We begin to understand that the conflict is not between Democrat and Republican, Liberal or Conservative, because those terms have been warped and their meaning eroded. The conflict we face is instead between individualists (Constitutionalists), and collectivists (globalists)."
'Birther' Gets Six Months, Dismissal From Army : NPR (http://www.npr.org/2010/12/16/132121758/birther-gets-six-months-dismissal-from-army - broken link)
But Lakin said Wednesday that despite his questions about Obama's eligibility for office, he was wrong not to follow Army orders. He acknowledged that the Army was the wrong place to raise his concerns about Obama, asked to keep his job and said he was now willing to deploy.
Bwaaaaaaaaahhh to him! He wants to have his cake and eat it, too. Good luck to him finding a medical practice to work in after he's done serving his sentence. It truly is amazing that someone intelligent enough to graduate from medical school could be this stupid.
The jury on Wednesday found Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin guilty of missing a flight that would have gotten him to Fort Campbell, Ky., for his eventual deployment. He was convicted of a charge of missing movement by design.
His attorney had argued that he should be convicted of a lesser charge.
Lakin had already pleaded guilty to another charge against him. All told, he now faces up to three and a half years in prison.
And 3 yrs from now he'll be on FoxNFriends as their latest Ollie North patriot taking one for the gipper's crimes. Gentlemen, place your bets...

So is it a vast UCMJ liberal conspiracy or a vast UCMJ conservative conspiracy? Make up your mind you're making folks dizzy with wild accusations that can't seem to stick to the wall.
Lakin fails to deploy because he thinks Obama is an ineligible and illegitimate CIC and therefore unathorized to order military troop deployment to Afghanistan, and he's convicted.
Then again, Watada had Sean Penn on his side. Lakin's supporters merely include a retired 3-Star General. Priorities, priorities. Must let Hollywood dictate military actions, you know.
There's your unequal military justice. Hope the troops are taking note.
Watada had Retired Officers on his side, Iraq veterans returning from Iraq, chapter and verse of the articles specifying this as an act of aggression, a formal REQUEST to be sent to Afghanistan instead of Iraq because it didn't conflict with said articles. This wasn't belligerence or disrespect. He was compelled by ethics/ reason and did what he could to stay in compliance & complete his tour. Why did the army refuse his request to go to Afghanistan and do their own version of grandstanding in the media? They could have handled it discretely and decided against it to make an example of him. His own command admitted as such and DEFENDED him as a result. Should there be rules of conduct for political expression for service members? Probably, but they aren't very well thought out and they exist crudely.

What separates enlisted from officers... Stanley A. McChrystal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , his career totaled at the behest of yet another herd of right wing think tanks trying to rule America pulling insider strings & pandering to the media.
These are shades of gray decisions that are exploited politically. When the grounds are dead to rights obvious- those at Abu Graib didn't refuse orders. Why was the former admin. permitted to hide behind the troops in Gitmo for their outrageously unlawful orders? Raping prisoners is fine with you?
Yes, the rest of us have heard you just fine. And so has the military you've abused as just another pawn in your long career of smear. So says the modern whig party founded by Iraq & Afghanistan veterans sick to death of rabid republicans. Modern Whig Party - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
