Evict special interests from DC & campaign finance. If their position is has legitimacy they should be obliged in broad daylight on level playing field to talk in open forums the same way any ordinary citizen would. Having license to undermine the basis of all business in back room deals is an unhealthy mix of government and commerce.

Government put itself in a position of being the lap dog of oligarchs and it's going to be the death of us all. These individuals don't have to care because they can pull up anchor and live a pirates life elsewhere at any moment like any other despot living the high life in exile. The loyalty public servants have to their broader constituents cannot be compromised by $$$$$$$$. The price tag placed on the presidents chair punctuates the obscenity. How does the next Thomas Jefferson have a shot? $$$$ ran them off.

McCain is a fine statesman but any real leadership he could offer gets undermined by his party and media driven constituents. They removed his spine and handed it back to him so long as he toe's the line of party loyalty, and they've repeated the exact same thing this last election cycle. Same exact thing with Obama getting grief from irrational liberal expectations. Too many people are completely out of touch with reasonable expectations of governance. We all need to look hard at that regardless of party affiliations, or lack thereof.

Sorry, but the NYC-Chicago axis corners the market on corruption and sleaze. Not to mention a dimwit population that obliviously accepts it.

Leftist oppression always promises greater equality for all economic classes, but creates a privileged political class. Continue in your ignorance of this truth at everyone's peril.
