Should we say media, or people in general. Some one not that long ao said to me, if someone does not lie to you once every day, your doing pretty good. I think the media of course, but people in general. I usually don't believe anyone, without chekcing on some facts first. if the reason why i am checking pertains to my every day life. Media is there for a reason, you have to take and choose, what you believe in, and what you don't you check out.

Same with people, not everyone that we meet, tells us the truth as we know it, people are people, some will venture from telling the truth, and some will always thell the truth. Media Outlet and NewsPaper Outlet, are there for a reason, there are the good, and there are the bad.

Since I realized that schools only teach what they want you to know, many moons ago, I certainly believe most media lies and is partial. So I TRY to get my news and information from reputable on-line sources. So far the information I receive has been as close to truth as anyone can get.

Of course, as we see on here (CD) more often than is really acceptable, a lot of folks believe most of what they HEAR. Propaganda and other lies.

Default But, how do you know which is truth and which is not?

It seems like cynicism is pretty difficult to avoid ... Today, any form of 'absolute truth' seems to get trumped by some 'mushy notion of relative truth.' I believe the biggest problem people have with consistently deciding "what they believe in" ... is accepting and living by a consistent standard.

When it comes to the general media, I often find myself reading the local newspaper to find out what "really isn't happening." -- The editorials are also a great source of 'mis-informed opinion'. --- It's like using what "everyone is doing in the stock market" ... to decide what not to do!

Reporting on, does nothing to my views. It is propaganda.
Straight from the horses mouth, works best for me.

That is why Glenn Beck is so effective. It isn't him saying it. He lets the actual people say it for themselves and lets the viewers and listeners make up their own minds.
