And so we have a man who is still enamored with the American dream. What a novel idea. Of course, that idea would not move a Socialist to tears.

Funny you should say that. If the American Dream moves one to tears just by it's existence, why aren't all Republicans walking around crying all the time (instead of whining all the time)?

Your snarky post is missing the point of how much Boehner loves and respects the ability to rise from the ashes and make something of oneself in this country.

We are fast losing that ability by a Socialist agenda. I attribute that fault to both Democrats and Republicans, BTW. A Rhino Republican is a Democrat is disguise.

I don't enjoy big government and I don't enjoy crony capitalism. Both are bad for our country, but such is the mindset of selfish men.

If you think the repubs are whinning, you aren't old enough to remember the dems whinning when the repubs had control of congress.

All you liberals are still whinning about Bush.

And just wait until the House is controlled by the repubs again.

You ain't seen nothin' yet.

absolutely not, but what in God's Green Earth would make you say a thing like: he is a raging alcoholic? I will add, we have, probably had more than one sitting Pres with a drinking problem...

I hope for you that when you will get to her age, should that not be already the case, you will be as good looking and graceful as she is.
When it comes to class, distinction and intelligence, referring to what you wrote, that is obviously not within your reach.
and what about all the men that are making worse comments about Boehner?

The only good thing coming out of a thread like this: it is temporarily taking the nasty posters away from Palin attacking and putting it somewhere else..

Boehner rose above his circumstances a hell-of-a-long time ago. You'd think he'd have his emotions in check by now. I mean Geez...it aint like the dude came up from poverty. His grandfather and father owned a saloon, and he went to Cardinal Moeller High School...a private school. That school doesn't graduate many losers...at least not to my knowledge. The guy had some pretty good breaks. Which is not to say that he didn't have some hardships, but he aint exactly Oliver Twist.

And no, we aren't fast losing the ability to rise from the ashes and make something of ourselves. Not one bit. And even if we were, it wouldn't have a damn thing to do with a socialist agenda despite what you believe.

Damn, He must smart. He is now, not only about to become the speaker of the house, but he is a senator. Who has a drinking problem?
