Still waiting to see one of those right wing guys cry for a good reason, such as, the "almost" kids that are being killed and mained in those avoidable wars.
Exactly! At 18, those boys are still children. I know of guys who were drafted in the Vietnam war. They told me they would literally wet their pants during an attack.
This really goes to show how easily those on the left can be mislead. You admit that the opinions of a few CD posters has led you to believe that Boehner has "other problems" maybe alcohol. And from that you go on to conclude that he "obviously needs help". Is this what liberals call "critical thinking"? Such a shame!
Actually I read it from another article that I posted fairly early in this thread.
There could be another reason for all of boehner's blubbering...maybe he is menopausal.
Talking about children having a fair chance in life is about nothing?
You are kidding right?
Boehner's voting history is the joke!
Voted NO on regulating tobacco as a drug. (Apr 2009)
Voted NO on expanding the Children's Health Insurance Program. (Jan 2009)
Voted NO on overriding veto on expansion of Medicare. (Jul 2008)
Voted NO on giving mental health full equity with physical health. (Mar 2008)
Voted NO on Veto override: Extend SCHIP to cover 6M more kids. (Jan 2008)
Voted NO on adding 2 to 4 million children to SCHIP eligibility. (Oct 2007)
Voted NO on four weeks of paid parental leave for federal employees. (Jun 2009)
Voted NO on additional $10.2B for federal education & HHS projects. (Nov 2007)
Voted NO on $84 million in grants for Black and Hispanic colleges. (Mar 2006)
I want to be clear. I don't have any problem with John Boehner crying, let alone crying repeatedly. Crying to the point of being a serial weeper. If that's the emotion how he best expresses himself, so be it.
It's just the galling hypocrisy of it all that is so pathetic.
I mean, being honest a moment -- and surely we all want to be honest -- let's just imagine that it had been Barack Obama who wept to cameras on election night, and wept when he appeared on 60 Minutes. And cried every time he talked on camera about himself and his challenging upbringing. Just imagine.
Barack Obama would have been scathingly vilified. Republicans would have ripped him for putting America at risk by being unable to control his own emotions. Saying how a leader has to stand tall, be strong, stay tough when facing our enemies. They'd have called him unstable.
..............
And now here's John Boehner, continually weeping his heart out over himself and having a job in college, and not a peep from Republicans to "Man up," how he's continually having an emotional breakdown and putting America at risk. Robert J. Elisberg: The Grim Weeper
Seems that the righties hold themselves to a conspicuously different standard.
If Boehner were President, his weeping would be more troubling, since as the leader of the free world, projecting an image of strength would be part of his duties, and he would represent the people of the collective United States and its allies.
As it stands, though, Boehner remains a Congressman from Ohio and the titular leader of a political party. He represents only the voters of his district. If they are sufficiently unconcerned about his overt emotionalism to keep sending him to the House to represent them, that is really all that matters...
Have you ever seen an alcoholic? They cry constantly just like Boehner does.

You're both right...egads , I have a friend who is both a recovering alcoholic AND menopausal...cries over everything and anything but then she's NOT a Senator in line to be president....BOner shouldn't be....between him and Palin the Repubs look soooooo desperate...that's the crap they come up with ???.... Maybe they should try Lindsey Graham....seems much healthier emotionally......

He MAY represent the voters of his state BUT his decisions as a Senator and Speaker may affect ALL of America..... his being third in line for the Pres. IS troubling...

Everytime there is a criticism, valid or not valid all you hear from Republican posters here is well little johnny did it, well little johnny did worse. These people need to "Man Up" and lets just talk about the post. The post is about Boehner not about Obama.
Anyway, to get back on topic, yes: Boehner is a crybaby. (And a sold out corporatist shill, but we digress yet again...)
Anybody who appears that emotionally unstable should be concerning to people.
