The school denied the request based on the contract between the teacher's union and the schools system that her requested leave was unrelated to her professional duties.
What do you think? I think, that if there is a contract, and the school system abided by the letter of that contract, that they are inthe right, and this woman is wrong.

Actually it is the beginning of the school year. And as any teacher can tell you those first weeks are the most important. By why should we take into consideration the interests of the children? It's all about political correctness, don't you know?

He IS a POS and should be brought up on Dereliction of Duty charges. He only goes after political wins and anything to make the left happy. He doesn't uphold the laws NOR the US Constitution.
