I am 100% positive that if I wanted to do the same thing, but visit the Vatican, Holder wouldn't even consider suing for me.

The school denied the request based on the contract between the teacher's union and the schools system that her requested leave was unrelated to her professional duties.

What do you think? I think, that if there is a contract, and the school system abided by the letter of that contract, that they are inthe right, and this woman is wrong.

Besides, Quoted "Khan wanted to perform the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia which every adult Muslim is supposed to make at least once in a lifetime if they are physically and financially able to. Millions go each year".
I'm pretty sure that no teacher in that school district is allowed to simply take off for three weeks in the middle of the school year, paid or unpaid.

My wishy-washy prediction: she loses.
I'm betting the school districts caves.

Actually it is the beginning of the school year. And as any teacher can tell you those first weeks are the most important. By why should we take into consideration the interests of the children? It's all about political correctness, don't you know?

Also, it's not like the DOJ went out looking for this...it was thrust upon them. But if calling a guy a POS for following the laws of our legal system makes YOU feel better then by all means, rant away.

He IS a POS and should be brought up on Dereliction of Duty charges. He only goes after political wins and anything to make the left happy. He doesn't uphold the laws NOR the US Constitution.
