My argument only makes explicit what is implicit in the founding history of our nation and her foundational documents--the Declaration of Independence and the U. S. Constitution. The Judeao-Christian ethic, rooted in both Testaments, infused the Founders' understanding of man and his relationship with God and his fellow man. That ethic is the foundation of our civil society and when we deny its existence or disavow any mention of it in political discourse we are essentially destroying the base upon which the entire structure rests. That destructive amnesia has been at work for the past 50 years and, as a consequence, we are beginning to see the structure teeter.

The progressive income tax would have been anathema to the Founding Fathers precisely because it violates biblical principles of fairness. The Old Testament enjoins judges that they should administer justice impartially, neither favoring the rich because they are rich nor favoring the poor because they are poor. In other words the rich are not to be punished because of their wealth. And that is precisely what progressive taxation does.

The Biblical tax collectors were not politicians.
Again you miss the point. It is basically about class warfare. Go ahead and tax me, but then leave me the $%^& alone! Yes, rich people have a moral obligation to help the poor. BUT, Gov't does not have the right to tax tax tax with no accountablility.
It is our money (all US citizens) we should keep more of it.
Anyone who is in favor of higher taxes is free to send in more of their own money.

Show me where in the bible that it says that people shouldn't have to pay progressive income taxes to secular governments. Or where it says you shouldn't pay taxes through legitimate tax collectors because you dislike tax collectors.

I get it, you think you are taxed to much. Then you should lobby for lower governmental spending (which perhaps you do). But don't try and twist the scriptures when they are largely silent on taxes to secular governments.
