Harry Reid loses his bid to screw over Americans by spending 1.1 trillion of tax payers dollars.

Sorry Harry, the majority of us put a stop to your recklessness.

Poor Harry has not seen anything yet, we will be able to get 7 votes from dems in the Senate to repeal Obamacare and a ton of other things.

Porky Reid needs to get used to LOSING.

Americans win, Porky and the dems lose.

List of senators and the number of earmarks they placed in Omnibus spending bill Cubachi
A list of those who had pork in the bill and how much. Oddly enough out of the top 20 porksters.
The top 2 were republicans.
The next 18 are democrats including Reid with 129 million in pork.
Obviously it wasn't just republicans and no the majority of the pork wasn't right wing pork.
It was a lot of pork by all and it is all wrong.
But hey hardliners lets not let facts stand in the way.

This is the most major blow to the right while standing up for the people the democrats have done during this presidency and by democrats in a very long time. This should ring loud and true to the greedy and agenda pushers on the right, democrats are not going to be bullied around.
Huh? What a load of spin!

Obama made the deal, remember? Obama said NO tax rate extensions for the over $250kers. Obama and the dems got their butts handed to them and rightly so. The rhetoric of obama and the dems about the "rich" didn't work this time, did it? They were in a box, put there by the GOP and sealed tight by obama when he agreed to the deal. The polls show a vast majority of Americans are FOR the plan, which if the democrats had their way, there would be a huge tax hike starting in January.

Isn't is amazing that with this deal, obama has essentially admitted HIS ideas and policies have failed. He is embracing the tax rate extensions, claiming now they WILL boost the economy.

Just perfect.

You are misreading this. Obama is just a wuss, always has been, always will be. Hence Afghanistan and Iraq and all other neo con things he supports. But he is a 'good wuss'. His heart is in the right place, but he just lacks the testosterone to put his foot down.

Obama is just a pantsy. But hardly evil.

The republicans on the other hand are just slimy do-nothing cockroaches. And school yard bullies.

And they've just nominated a dull retarded drunk as the Speaker - Boehner.

Now, now. Don't accept the premise that tax rate extensions cost the federal government a dime. They don't. The "cost" has meaning only to those that believe it is the government's money to begin with.

Cost is directly related to spending.
Cost has nothing to do with collection of money to pay for those "costs"
Revenue has never been a cost where I come from. What kind of spin is this new deal?

I just love when democrats and republicans both agree that a 900 Billion deficit is a compromise. It really
helps explain how we have gotten to the place we are today.

Extending the tax rates doesn't cost a dime.

Democrats concede budget fight to Republicans

Quote:
Senate Democrats abruptly abandoned an omnibus budget bill for the coming year, pushing major spending decisions into the next Congress and giving Republicans immense new leverage to confront President Barack Obama priorities.
Cutting his $4 trillion budget down to size, being one of them.
