The vote came up in the house at the beginning of the month for extending the tax breaks for everyone making under 250k a year which was shot down by the right. The democrats came back with one of the biggest arm reaches I've ever seen, with a everyone making one million and under compromise that was shot down to the surprise of people on both sides of the isle and against what most americans wanted, feeling the one million compromise was very fair. Since then the democrats have been trying to work out some kind of compromise with the right but are offered little leading to the continuing bickering that should have been done weeks ago.

900 billion of that is the spending the right are proposing. The right compromise to giving a little more to the left, but then want more for themselves, so on and so on, taking spending up with it. What Reid has been doing with the senate are simply "test" votes to make sure the plan they are going to bring to the house floor will actually pass in the senate, instead of wasting people's time on a bill that would just get shot down again.

No wonder the majority voted the dems out of control.

We cannot afford the dems. They might as well go home and let the real Americans who are the majority in this country, conservatives, run things.

4 years of the dems with not one single thing done for the American people.

Go on home Harry, you (we) are out of money again thanks to your porking us.

Reid is not, and will never, try to actually take money from the 'rich' and give it to you like he, and other demoRATS, keep telling you they will. Reality is coming soon....wake up, get a JOB and stop blaming the Republicans for all your problems.
Who are you telling to get a job? Who are you accusing of blaming the Republicans for all their problems? Clever way to make personal attack without violating the TOS!

Where do you get this BS from?

Why stay and be a part of scamming the American people like the dems want to do.

I demand my rep finds a way to STOP the dems in their tracks.

So you are for the dems staying to get caught up on work that was suppose to be done in October?

The dems got voted out of control for a reason and MOST of us know why, then some of us are still drinking way too much kool-aid.

Just more rushing things through so the American people do not get to see what is in the bill.

Lets pass it first then read it.

1900 more pages of democratic pork, are they going to read it or not?
