Nothing wrong or twisted with my logic. Maybe you
should reread my post
Religious symbols do not belong in a bank. Yes, in
those days the temple was behaving much like a bank,
thus Jesus attempt to have them change their ways:
Jesus protested: "How dare you turn my Father's house into a market." The court of Gentiles was full of cattle and sheep pens, cages of doves and the tables of the money changers. It should have been a place of prayer and meditation instead it was dominated by business. The priests justified the arrangement by pointing out that it was for the convenience of the numerous pilgrims who thronged Jerusalem. The stalls raised money for the temple. They were a necessity for keeping the temple in good running order.
"And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves"
Because they were democrats....taking advantage of the poor. Taxing everyone until they had nothing left. Ya'll have been around forever, you just don't want to admit it.

I'm not a Democrat but that behavior sure sounds
like what we have in Washington today - on both sides
of the aisle. I'm a Libertarian
Perhaps these would be good verses to display in banks:
Matthew 21:12
[ Jesus at the Temple ] Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers.
John 2:15
So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

I thought this was a Federal Reserve Bank Branch. If that's the case, it's highly inappropriate to have crosses and bible verses displayed.
If it is in fact a privately owned bank and the government is trying to force the removal of religions materials, then that's a disgusting abuse by the government. If that's the case this private bank should contact the ACLU and sue the pants off the government.
The issue has been resolved. After conferring with the board of governors at the Federal Reserve they can display religious images and phrases on their website and at their bank.
No one is forcing anyone to be a christian. Your comparison doesnt work. Since we have the freedom to choose
Look if you or anyone else does not wish to believe in GOD or practice a religion, cool that is your right but to think others must give up that right because you dont believe is not right.
Freedom of religion means those that wish to practice have the freedom to do so. Just like those that don't doesnt have to. Seems one group wants to restrict the other.
That is not the point. I don't care if people believe in god or the iPod or mermaids or nothing. But they should do so at home or in their churches and temples etc., when they feel like they need to advertise and display their faith.
You know, freedom of religion is everywhere, even in Iran or China, simply because nobody can look into people's minds and know what they really believe. The problem starts when people feel like they must display their faith in public for whatever reason.
I'm sure they do in countries that are overwhelmingly hindu and muslim. Over 93% of Americans celebrate Christmas. Why are you so intolerant?
The numbers don't matter as soon as Christians don't account for 100.00% of Americans (needless to say that the percentage of Christians is way lower than 93%, but in a country where Atheist is a curse many people keep it to themselves, just like in Iran etc.). I hope local believers of other faiths insist on their symbols and stuff being displayed at that bank as well during their holiday seasons.
