Man I was so set on a cheap Christmas but something did come over me this year and I ended up spending more than I should have, more than I usually do. All for my kids of course, but still I'm kind of upset I let myself do it. I didn't go into debt or anything but some of this stuff isn't worth it.
I hear ya, the quality ain't there on so much of this stuff, but that sure ain't changing the price tag one bit.
Good man! Now did you pay attention to her hints as to what she wants? My husband never does, lol, so I buy my own gifts.
We spent more this year as well.
I'm not a very good listener by nature because I'm a guy, lol, but I do my best. I don't know if it's because I'm getting older, or because the longer I'm with my wife the more I love her, but I try harder now to be in tune with doing nice things for her more often. I'm not a real Christmas guy, I generally loathe malls, and shopping in general. So I'm really not sure where all of this came from, but I decided I wanted to spoil her rotten this year and I am. I am even going to buy her a gift for New Years eve.

Well she's a lucky woman to have you and I'm sure she'll appreciate all of your thoughtfulness!
