"After nearly a decade of battle, the Federal Communications Commission approved contentious net-neutrality regulations on Tuesday over the strong objections of two Republican commissioners"

FCC commissioners ratify net neutrality, fulfilling Obama pledge - The Hill's Hillicon Valley

"The FCC is not Congress. We cannot make laws,” said Republican Commission Robert McDowell, describing Tuesday as “one of the darkest days in FCC history.” He also suggested that new rules may be in for a court battle"

FCC Votes 3-2 to Regulate Internet via Net Neutrality | The Blaze

Wow, they want the internet now. Once they get the internet, the American people have no place to turn to for unlimited unbiased factual information.

I doubt the feds will get complete control of the internet, but they will try. I just think that when the feds mess with the internet, bloggers and Americans will revolt and be active fighting against it. People rightfully want a place to express themselves.

The feds are just grabbing grabbing and taking taking. This is not the type of government our founders wanted. They understood how local government best understood the needs of the local people. Federal government was too broad to be the most powerfull, so our founders wanted the government to be setup like this:

1. Local (most powerful)
2. State
3. Federal (least powerful)

Now the order has been switched, and we suffer the consequences. The federal government is too powerfull, creating the FCC to bypass congress and take away congressional influence and power, thus taking away our influence and power.

Merry CHRISTmas and a blessed New Year!

Anyone who believes that this is a good thing is nuts. No ISP's are keeping you from getting to ANY legal sites. That is just pure fear mongering for the useful idiot sheep to lap up like the cookies and milk they were given in pre-school.

More control of another aspect of our lives.

The grab continues, without the house, or the senate. Who needs a 3 branch government, when government agencies have more power than our congress does.

That's what we get for electing a usurper as POTUS.

This thing is BS. It's full of loopholes, and nobody seems to like it.

This is very dissappointing. I just did not for for enough. As it stands it is still an improvement and will help consumers but more is needed.
