People who were trying to be PC were always a source of amusement for me .. People, who were so insecure in who they were, subjecting themselves to that sort of verbal torture was, and is, a riot.
Here's a clue people ...
It's always been "Used Cars", and it's always been "Toilet Paper", and it's always been "Trailer House", and it's always been "Shell Shocked" ..
Changing the wording on anything doesn't make it anything other than what it already is, or has been ..
Old Larry really told it like it was in that clip. It is kind of like saying that 'A rose by any other name still smells as sweet." Some things just can't be covered up by changing their names.
Larry's description of the reindeer and Santa was so much like a CHRISTMAS card I once received where Santa was really flying along "woman of the evening" over and over and finally said you would be sounding very silly if you had been smelling reindeer farts all night. Now PC would have required reindeer exhaust or some other simple minded thing, wouldn't it?
I know some elderly people who still used the word "colored". I don't have a problem with that becasue I recognize the world doesn't revolve around me and my experiences or my way of thinking.
Unless someone was being purposely negative I would say anyone vocally OBJECTING to hearing someone say "colored" has a problem of their own,.

Guess i've got a problem then because i'm damn sure gonna "vocally object." And quite loudly too. Loudly would actually be putting it mildly.
