So much for the continued doomsday scenarios promoted by the Republican narrative. This president is doing a fine job.

Told you the Bush tax cuts would work, unlike Obama's recovery that fizzled after only 3 months.

First Republicans took the House, and now the Bush tax cuts are extended. Those two factors alone bumped up economists' forecasts for economic growth considerably.

Thanks for sharing this good news!

From your link:
'Sustained job creation ... will finally give Americans a tangible sense of an improving economy' in 2011, expert predicts.

Can't imagine anyone bashing this news unless their own pride trumps wellbeing of our citizens.

Bush tax cuts were in effect for the past ten years! How do you explain them not working earlier?

Would these be the same people who "never saw it coming" back in 2007 ?

You will not get an answer to your question. It is amazing that the right wing erased the years prior to Obama from their memory. There was no illegal war, which was unpaid for and was supposed to be funded with Iraqi oil, we were never promised the capture of Osama bin Laden, Bush tax cuts for the rich were never supposed to "trickle down", 911 never happened according the the GOP representatives that did not want to compensate The First Responders and so on. The Republicans are liars, crooks and frauds and their base has memories like a sieve.

They worked as intended. 10.3 million jobs were created between December 2002 and December 2007. When Republicans won the House, within a week forecasts for economic growth went up. A second increase came shortly after the tax cuts were finally extended.

Obama's economic plan had 22 months to work. Yet, growth was anemic and 63% of job creation was Census related. And once these tax cuts spur a real recovery, the anti-tax cut people will quietly retreat back into their corner as always.

By the way.. You can use this page to see what economists' consensus is on certain economic statistics:

Economic Calendar

At the bottom is long term GDP forecasts, which were only 1.5% - 2.0% before the November elections.

They did work ( 52 consecutive months of job growth under Bush, 24 consecutive months of job losses under Obama ) and then Nancy and Harry came into power and scared businesses to death about spending any money.

Then along came Obama and that really scared businesses.

Simply put, with the GOP in charge now businesses will start hiring some people and not be worried that the tax and steal party will take away any extra money they have.

+1 for the GOP.

You must understand the businesses are scared to death of liberals taxing them to death and they do not trust a liberal telling them how to do things.

Never trust a lib when it comes to running a business and hiring people.

Since you want to give Obama credit for something. I would like to know if Obama is so good why did he wait for 24 months to do anything?
( -9 million jobs since he took over the WH )
