How does a $10,000.00/night suite for the Speaker's last official days grap ya?

http://www.hawaiireporter.com/pelosi...-with-the-bill

BY MALIA ZIMMERMANNancy Pelosi’s final days as Speaker of the House were spent at the exotic Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu in Kona on the island of Hawaii.

Escorted throughout her trip by a mini security motorcade that included Secret Service and Hawaii County Police officers, Pelosi was seen at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona, where she received Communion. Parishioners greeted her warmly, Hawaii Reporter was told. Two police SUVs were on guard outside the hotel during her week long stay.

Where's the US citizens vacation from them crooks @ $10,000.00/night?

We are in a recession and the taxpayers have to dole out this kind of money, people are losing their homes, losing their retirement savings, have no jobs, getting into more credit card debt, no hope, no nothing but I'm sure we'll get posters that'll go along that this was okay too.

Yet they want US to tighten our belts even more, good thing I'll die sooner or later so then not to support crooks like these.

Would you rather that the POTUS be sleeping in the sewer under the watchful eye of the Ninja Turtles to guard him from the alligator assassins the next time he visits NY? What pray tell do you geniuses think the costs are for the accommodations of the other world leaders? Nickels and dimes?

He IS JUST A HUMAN BEING LIKE EVERYONE ELSE (maybe I'm overstating that) and there are cheaper ways to take a vacation. If he paid for all of out his own pocket, that would be different.

He is not a supreme being PERIOD!

We are in a recession and he blows this money without guilt.

I could deal with the travel, I cannot deal with their wild carelessness AND selfishness while most of the rest of us are in bad straits specially this POTUS.

I can see it, the dem supporters will encourage his irresponsible behavior.

Hawaii isn't really all that expensive. It's cheaper for me than NYC would be. I know tons of people who go there every year. The expense is that he is POTUS...an expense that will be there whether he goes to Hawaii or Nebraska.

Funny... just 6 years ago, the tune of this board would have been VERY different, and I'm not talking about Bush specifically either. America thought it was the cat's meow and honestly still does. The near-complete voluntary ignorance to the state of affairs elsewhere in the world other than the middle east and china on the part of most Americans is a testament to this.

And in case you haven't noticed, world leaders don't get taken particularly seriously when they're staying at Motel 6, never mind that Obama would have to rent out the entire Motel 6 which would cost about the same anyway.

Lets mention Bush, he didn't go out on these vacations @10,000.00/night and treat others on the taxpayers dime as far as I know. If anyone can prove otherwise, I'll be stood corrected.
I know he did go plenty to his ranch and at camp david and sure didn't cost $10,000.00/night - not even close.

I hope that most of you enjoy paying for all of this and when in the future they take away "x" benefits you get now.

Besides he did not need to go on vacation like this now, it just seems his term so far has been one huge vacation.
