How about the old quote about blacks, "loose shoes, tight pu--y and a warm place to s--t." I'm an old white guy and like them too.

I love that site. Its hysterical and for the most part true. Nothing wrong with different ethnic groups showing different likes or dislikes. Ain't that diversity in action?

I'm surprised someone hasn't screamed "rascism", if the title was "Things Black People Like", the moderators would have closed this thread, and gotten Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson AND the NAACP involved.

But since it's about "white" stereotypes, its perfectly fine!

I rarely see black folks in sushi places.

Not sure, but when you read the comments, you see how many people don't get the satire. The comments are funny to read in and of themselves.

It's even funnier when people try to compare themselves to the blog. Like "Oh I only like 4 of the items listed...guess I'm not white!" Or "I like moleskin notebooks and I'm black--crushed your theory right there!"

Okay, gaiz, it's a joke. LOL.

You won't find Old White Guy (OWG) in a sushi place either.

PS: I agree that the OP was wonderfully sarcastic and this is a fun thread.

One of my favorite ones is Having Gay Friends.
Quote:
It is also worth noting that a gay friendship of any sort allows white people to feel as though they are a part of the gay rights movement. While white people love being a part of any movement, the gay movement is especially important to them because they can blend in at rallies and protests and spend an afternoon feeling the sting of oppression.
The bolded is my favorite line.

I will admit that the hipster in me likes a lot of those things

Just last weekend me and a friend sat, drank wine and watched TED talks online... maybe I'll buy a peacoat and scarf and become whiter than I already am
