There is absolutely no doubt that this maggot of an individual was from that pathetic tea party contingent. This tragic incident is yet another reminder that we live among some of the most ignorant, vile, backwards, and bigoted people nearly driven insane now because the brilliant black man we have as president is quite a successful one. This tragedy was caused by a deranged shooter influenced by hateful right wing ideas. I'm sure the people at Fox are just reveling in this tragedy right now. After all, when you spend years spinning every story and issue into something where you think everything is caused by *someone else* or the government... when you feed the hate machine on daily basis and encourage people like Palin to put 20 Congress people in the crosshairs of a gun... Surprise! Fox got exactly they wanted! A sensational story about some right wing loser gunning down a Democratic Congresswoman, a Federal Judge, and small children. I'm sure that despite the sadness that the rest of us feel, the FOX media machine is quietly gloating, feeling a great sense of power in their ability to stir the pot enough that some Democrat or government employee ends up dead. And the kids are just casualties in your little Tea Party revolution, right? Yes, that's how ideologues think. The ends justifies the means.
In addition to reading the Communist Manifest, the shooter also read Mein Kampf (authoritarian right wing). His videos show references to 'federalists' and the Constitution that is the language of the Tea Party. Additionally, he had tried to get into the military. He has a fascination with guns. And he shot at one of the 20 people on Sarah Palin's hit list. I think the Far Right media (i.e., FOX) clearly influenced this guy.
At least we know who the real terrorists are right now. In your paranoia about the government and your hate against anything that upsets your carefully constructed mid-20th century view of the world, you are fueling home-grown terrorists. Most of us view Palin, Beck, Limbaugh are a joke. But some people really believe and act on what they're saying. The world is going to continue to change and you can't stop it simply by shooting innocent people.

Small minded haters on the left will embrace this. Funny the AP deleted the Communist Manifesto from the list of his favorite books. This will further reduce my opinion of this administration if they do pursue this as just a Tea Party act. This young man was no Tea Party member, nor a conservative. He is a pot smoking sociopath with terrorist leanings. Very disturbed.
