Sheriff Clarence Dupnik: Shooter Made Death Threat(s) Before this Incident (Congress, illegal)

Hmmmm...maybe that is why this sheriff came out with his partisan, political, divisive speculation with not a shred of evidence to back it up.

Jan 8 (Reuters) - The suspect in Saturday's shooting rampage in which a U.S. congresswoman was critically wounded was unstable and had been known to make death threats in the past, the local sheriff said.

Dupnik said there had been earlier contact between Loughner and law enforcement after he had made death threats, although they had not been against Giffords.

I'd like to know exactly what was done with the previous death threats - wouldn't you?

Jared Loughner has been making death threats by phone to many people in Pima County including staff of Pima Community College, radio personalities and local bloggers. When Pima County Sheriff’s Office was informed, his deputies assured the victims that he was being well managed by the mental health system.

Looks like we need some clarification from the sheriff on this.

He's an elected democrat. Additionally, when he came out spewing the democrat talking points, that one party is trying to do what's best for the nation, while the other is trying to stop them (the latter has the backing of the American people), when he called his own state racist and bigoted,[mod cut- off topic]

This guy is truly the most unprofessional law enforcement official I have ever seen. It is NOT his job to give us his opinion on the state of political discourse in this country. His ONLY responsibility is to investigate this crime and report on the facts, which he is not doing.

He has not one shred of evidence to back up his partisan rhetoric. He should be replaced, as in my view, he is jeopardizing the prosecution of the murderer.

Are you talking about his part in the press conference right after the shooting? If that's what you're saying, then can you explain what was partisan, political and divisive about his statement? (FYI, speculation is just that; it is not evidence). Especially that part about his statement being "divisive".

BTW, do you remember that it was he who refused to apologize for saying that state(s) should not be obligated to educate illegal immigrant children?
Should he retract or apologize for that comment, or is it only the comments you disagree with that require clarification?

It was divisive because he implied that it was the people who were against illegal immigration who were responsible for the deaths.

He should apologize because that has proven not to be true.
