Where is the Deficit Czar? - FoxBusiness.com

Quote:
The nation’s debt is now careening higher and sits at about equal to the size of the U.S. economy, at $14 trillion. Gross interest cost on the U.S. debt is now $413.9 billion. That’s more than the size of the economy of Belgium. That $413.9 billion figure includes interest on intra-government holdings in Social Security. Strip out those costs, and net interest on the U.S. debt is $197 billion or about 9% of the $2.1 trillion in federal revenue.

Where was your outrage that Bush didn't have an economy czar when things started to go south? The deficit grew plenty under Bush... Where was your outrage then?

More hypocrisy.

One guy is not enough..he has a committee of "experts" to tell us we spend more than we take in and have their list of programs to cut.

I find it grotesquely offensive that we continue to use the term Czar. The term Capo would be much more appropriate given Italian Americans huge contribution to this country. Plus it would be more apropo for Obama's administration seeing as it is run like the Mafia. Plus if it wasn't for liberal Italian Catholics from the Northeast our current Boss would not be in power.

That's what I was questioning, the use of the term czar.
