Yeah nothing changes except chasing corporations off US soil. The people wouldn't save anything, they would actually pay more.

Well that is ultimately what would happen as unemployment would skyrocket as companies would compete to see who could leave US soil fastest.

OK, clarification - non-owner wage tax would devolve to zero.
