It's not surprising since most liberals believe that overspending is "good."

It's actually best if these Lefties continue to live in a dreamland where they actually think that the 2010 Midterm Elections weren't a complete rejection of the Progressive Agenda...it'll surely cost them the Presidency as well as what's left of the Democrats in Congress.

Explain why EVERY politician that ran as a Tea Party Member and won has an R behind their title, that means that they are REPUBLICANS, that is where the R comes from. One cannot be a Democrat and vote Republican, it is what the right says about Republicans that vote for Dems, what is you call them oh yeah RINOs. So, is it I that is confused or is it you? Keep dancing around the fact but no matter how well you dance the fact is the fact, they are REPUBLICANS. We will see how well they do, so far I am hearing a lot of excuses.

So the new lets blame everything on is the tea party.
instead of focusing the left hate on Bush now the tea party gets the attention.
The left has such hate for people wanting to reduce spending and cut taxes.
They tea party people are now getting death threats from the left.
the attempt to marginalize the group through hate does not seem to work
No, they aren't the new George. George wasn't a good president but he also wasn't a freak. The TP's are freaks.

Your little rant there didn't PROVE anything because you didn't post any links yet to show where Tea Party members aren't comprised of 41% Democrat and Independents.

It's quite simple to explain what you said above though.....They voted for Republican candidates because they promised to stop the Liberal agenda.

Oh...and yes a Democrat or Independent CAN INDEED vote for anyone they want...even republicans.
Casper, you must prove the obvious. It's only assertions that don't need proof.

More proof?

2010 Midterm Elections:

Independents comprised 28 percent of the electorate and supported Republican congressional candidates by a margin of 56 to 38 percent.

Proposed ending child labor laws
Ended school integration in an area
Proposed people in congress all carry guns
Agreed to a massive spending bill of proven failed policies
Proposed nothing to lower spending
Proposed nothing to lower the deficit

The tea party are nothing more than the lunatic right wing fringe.
Wrong. Obama and the Democrats campaigned and wanted Cap and trade, universal health "care", increased tax rates for everyone.

There was no way the republicans in Congress had the votes to stop them, but something did.

It was the Tea Party. i.e. The American people.

This is why the left hates the TP so much. They have been extremely successful at stopping, or at least slowing, the liberal agenda from D.C. When Bush was president there was no outrage from the left about the Tea Party.

If you watch coverage from CNN and MSNBC of the Tea Party before Obama took office it is pretty clear the left liked the TP. The coverage by FOX was more negative.

The Tea Party has been very successful.
