That happened to some extent with Hugo,people die in natural disasters,difference was,with Katrina we had 24/7 news just waiting to make a story.

With respect to China, all they have to do is call in our debt and we are in big trouble. I do believe we will see them as the leading power in the world within the next five or ten years for sure.

And the Americans who got rich off the wars, the rich who got saved with bailouts in the trillions of dollars, and the rich who got richer by selling out America won't be worried either because they have their golden nest egg and will live nice while it goes to crap around them. Hence my once stating the exec's may not do too well in the event of a revolution.

There is always a scapegoat....deserved or not.

We should all be aware of China's stance on our economy, dollar, and trade policies. This could make for an interesting few years as the Chinese continue to try and exploit our economic recession.

Maybe they should try living without it for a while.
Having worked or a Chinese company and having travelled there more than a few times I can assure you the rhetoric would end VERY quickly.
