No actually .. it's a skewed poll.

Not all Gen X'ers would care to be in California .. most of the ones that are there now are screaming to get out

Well, if it's any consolation to you at all, I've been a Baby Boomer every since I can remember ..

I'm a Gen-X'er, and quite happy to be here... most of my friends are Gen-X'ers, and also not screaming to get out. Besides, the poll is showing who'd want to MOVE there, not who wants to stay vs leave their current states.

Sure .. I already knew that.

The fact that the youngest of us wants to be there is actually quite telling though ..

Not really, since there could be a myriad of reasons to explain the poll... and in case you haven't noticed, places like California have ALWAYS appealed to the younger set. Again, for a wide variety of reasons. And if it's any consolation, my Baby Boomer parents and their friends are all incredibly content here.

Yeah, it seems to be the under-34 section they can't figure out... admittedly, they are a strange bunch.
