What many have lost sight of in todays political climate is the balance the two parties give to America.. a term or two of Democrats prevent the Republicans from taking the country back to the wild west where its every man for himself,kinda like modern day Somalia, Then you get a term or two of Republican rule where the Democrats tendency toward socialism and eventually communism like China or Russia is turned around
, very balanced system and has worked well for several hundred years, so if your party isnt in power at the moment instead of trashing your government and fellow Americans just look at it as a necessary part of the process,your turn will come again..

Very true. Obama's campaign people in the Triangle area of NC made sure to visit jails & get the inmate vote for Obama in 2008.
I'll also never forget that journalist Carl Rowan wrote columns for years advocating strict gun control & practically no private firearm ownership. His house was broken into, he shot the burglar with a gun given to him by his son, an FBI agent. Illegal for him to have. He continued to preach gun control. The height of hypocrisy. I don't remember him being prosecuted either. He lives in DC, where any other citizen with a gun would have been persecuted to the max.
Liberals shouldn't own guns; they don't like them and should set an example for the rest of their fellow sheep.

Also, take away armed Secret Service protection for any politician advocating gun control. They have others to carry guns for them. Al Gore gave a speech at a church, saying no one should be allowed to carry a gun in a church. Did his Secret Service agents check their guns at the door or leave them in the car? I think not.
Disallow armed security for wealthy celebrities at their homes & armed bodyguards that many of them have, while preaching that others should not have access to "those evil guns".
Can you believe what Rush Limbaugh stated on his radio show today? I'm sure someone else heard his show earlier today in which he stated that if Americans wanted to put an end to violence then liberals should have their guns taken away. He said that if we got rid of liberals then American would rid itself of 90% of crime, 80% of hate and 100% of lies! I couldn't help but laugh and change the station. Is Limbaugh always this crazy or did I just tune in on one of his crazier shows?

Because that's the only way the Dims can get control, politically. Their numbers aren't sufficient so they enlist every anarchist they can find to vote their way. Just look at the pro-illegal voting bloc. They are almost all Dims.
