They both have the same outcome, bills do not get an up or down vote. Republicans were lectured that this is wrong. I guess old Harry had a change of heart!

If the Repub's think they have so much support for overturning the law, let them gather their strength and get it done.

Blaming Reid for not helping overturn a law he helped pass is a bit like blaming a rape victim for the assault.
It would get done if reid brought it to a vote.

He doesn't want to be on record as voting against it. But regardless, no way it would get past Skippy's desk.

He's afraid it will passsssssss, that's why he won't bring it up. Depending on how the bill is handled, the GOP could use a rule to bring it to the floor.

You're missing the point: It's ALREADY done! The bill has become law.

All that's happening now is the GOP is wanting to change it and they're accusing Reid and the Democrats of not helping them. Well...duh!

It sort of reminds me of one of my grandkids. She'll make a wreck out of her room, scattering toys and clothes all over the place, then when told to clean it up, her response is: "I need help."

To which her Momma replies, "You didn't need help messing it up."

From then on, it's MOM'S fault the room is junky!

Maybe, maybe not, but the question isn't why doesn't he allow a vote, but why should he?
