That is a direct result of the dumbing down of the school system in the US.

Exactly. That is what George Carlin was talking about. They will sell us on the benefits of privatization, but it is inherently predatory. There is not a cent devoted to the common good, or to ethical business practices, if more money can be made otherwise. We may need to refine and reform the federal equivalents, but at least they are intended for the good of the people.

Carlin would have done a much better job as president than Bush. Sad.

just about anyone that hadn't been bought by the plutocracy would have done better than Bush.
