MSNBC Ratings Rise on First Night Without Olbermann - NYTimes.com
People wanted to see/hear what O'Donnell and Maddow would have to say about Olbermann. If Olbermann had just gone on vacation, or a temp leave of absence, and ODonnell had filled in for him, there wouldn't have been a jump in ratings.

You are very easily entertained, aren't you?

Don't remember "Edsel" being a "brand definer" for Ford. How old are you?
Yeah, and Spike TV still gets higher ratings. Cheaters anyone?

If only "dozens" of people watch MSNBC, why are the right getting into the biggest circle jerk of the year? If no one watches Olbermann in their eyes, then really no one will care that he's gone

I watched Olbermann. I threw up in my mouth almost very time. What a junk reporter. That is why he is gone. If he was a good reporter, they could have worked through the differences.

I am curious to see if Comcast will turn the progressive propaganda machine (MSNBC) into a real news source. I guess that they are starting at the top of the crap pile. Chris Mathews can't be sleeping too well.

If you find MSNBC so "sickening" why do you torture yourself by watching it? Don't you know how to find Fox on your TV? Does conservative greed extend to wanting every cable news channel to be dominated by right wing talk? Geeezzz.
