All politicians eventually move to the center if they want to get anything done. All politicians run from the wings when they need to win a primary but then move to the center when it comes time to actually win an election. This whole Tea Party thing was a one election anomaly.

Yea, I tried to post that having to deal with the opposing party tends to be a good thing. If people are not acting completely contrary, everything gets looked at a bit more closely and moderation reigns.
