What is taking place over there is not bringing anybody freedom. Quite the opposite. They are being deceived. This is being driven by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Have you not listened to some of the analysis by experts on the Middle East? This is not a good thing happening. Least of all for the U.S. or Israel. This is a huge threat to America and the free world (whatever may be left of it).

Will people be upset if there IS free elections and Egypt becomes a democracy?

Supporting democracy and freedom wherever it is found can't really get a nation into trouble, except with those who despise democracy and freedom.

Now we hear from you that Hamas runs a democracy. Would you like a nuke for them too?

I fully expect that some day in the future you will be describing a Muslim Brotherhood regime as a model democracy. And, of course, you'll tell us how it so "bums you out" that your fellow countrymen don't feel the same way.

Because it is, unless you missed the 2009 elections where US political analyst and the media predicted the outcome by the margins that ended up being the results.

Too bad

There is not one Middle East expert that believes this is what is happening. This is about a Muslim Theocracy and establishing Sharia Law throughout the Middle East.

I have heard moments ago, that there are those who believe Iran may be behind this as well. They have much to gain.

Mubarak and Sadam were both leaders of overall muslim countries who ruled with a heavy hand. America says in the case of Iraq that all people deserve to have democracy to decide their own future and America will free Iraq from Sadam and liberate the Iraqi people and create democracy that will spread through out the middle east. Guess having it spread was never meant to go as far as Egypt?

At the same time America says no-no, democracy is not good for the other muslim nation of Egypt and the Egyptian people wouldn't be able to rule correctly for themselves.

So one is a American puppet dictator but that is good, the other a dictator as well but isn't a puppet so the people must be liberated from him and the Iraqi people want democracy.

Speaks volumes. And some wonder why America isn't seen as the good guy like many Americans see America as being. That's right up there like a liberal wanting to ban guns but be able to keep theirs......

Well the easy way around this is to just call Egypt a "theocracy" instead of democracy and wa la, like magic you can do whatever you want. Pay no mind that is pretty much what Iraq has as well but don't let that get in the way of anything.

Interesting that some claim democracy is a frawd in the middle east and everything is rigged, yet the democracy America would bring to the middle east wouldn't be a frawd and rigged?

Pro pre emptive war people really are about installing American friendly governments be it democracy or other types of government. Liberation and freedom are but buzz words to cloak intention.

A real America standing by its principles would allow people to create their own future and IF, they became a real danger with real actions taken by them only THEN to deal with possible war. Pre emptive strikes, meddling in peoples lives and supposedly stopping war before it starts is a frawd to the principles of America. It is a back door policy to being nannying and nation builders with self centered interests at heart.

Could you provide some cites regarding these Middle East experts?

I may be misinformed, but the difference between you and I is I have principles.
What have you been smoking? I once had respect for you. I think I just lost it all. Who have you been talking to? Someone has filled you full of beans!
