I guess the King of Saudi Arabia isn't a dictator either, right Joe.

And what do you think George W. Bush would have said about him? He, of course, being the President who held hands and smooched with the guy wearing the robes representing the benevolent democracy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If he said that Mubarak should step down, FOX would be airing a loop of commentators shrieking that Mubarak is a great ally in the Middle East, how dare he undermine America! Joe can't win either way

Well our esteemed government officials did the same with Tunisia.
Once they saw the tables turning they themselves turned.

They will stick with the current ruler. If the tables turn our government will do a two-face and then stick up for the "new" government that "the people want".

Just you wait and see. Tunisia was only last week. Biden needs to learn to keep his foot out of his mouth.

Sure he is a dictator. I don't see how you can see it any other way. However, are you sure that Egypt really wants a democracy? The Islamic Brotherhood seems to be behind a lot of the protests.

Be careful what you wish for here, it may be better to have dictator than a theocracy like Iran. I would be in favor of a democracy, but you have to see who is pulling the strings for the protests.
